As your local State Farm Agent and an active member of our community, I’m proud to protect who and what you love. I was raised in Columbia, Missouri and graduated from University of Missouri with a degree in International Business. I started my career with State Farm in 1999 in the Columbia regional office. After that, I relocated to Kansas City in 2001 to begin working with State Farm agents as an agency field specialist. I always knew I wanted to be an agent and assist our community with their insurance and financial service needs. I proudly opened the doors to my own State Farm office in Gladstone, Missouri in 2006! I recently relocated my office to North Kansas City to continue conveniently helping my neighbors!

On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family at local sporting and community events. We love exploring everything that Gladstone and the surrounding area has to offer! I’ve enjoyed watching our area grow and seeing local small business owners continuing to support each other.

My State Farm team has earned awards both company and industry wide by providing quality customer service and insurance to our valued customers – including State Farm Silver Scroll and State Farm Ambassador Club. We’re excited for the opportunity to help customers with their insurance and financial services to help prepare them for life’s unexpected. I’m bilingual in Spanish and I have been in the customer service industry for ten years now. I’m also a small business owner and make homemade salsas in the summer at farmers markets. In my free time, I’m either with my family, eating a good meal, or getting crafty and artsy. Though I was born in Nebraska, I grew up here in the Kansas City, North Land - moving here in 1988. I began working in the insurance industry in 2000 and hold licenses in Auto, Home, Life and Health insurance as well as notary public. Focusing on our customers’ Life Insurance needs and helping customers understand their insurance coverage is my specialty. In my spare time, I spend time with my family, who mean the world to me. We enjoy going out and about all around the KC metro for fun. We enjoy all the festivals, art shows and all the different cuisine here in KC. If it’s a “hole in the wall” kind of place, we will likely enjoy it! From Weston to Downtown KC, we love our city!

I have spent most of my life in the Kansas City area. My husband and I were active sail boat racers and spent many years enjoying all of the beautiful lakes in Missouri. In June of 2012, retired from the aviation industry working in fuel accounting and moved to Arizona. After missing family, my husband, our little dog and I moved back to the area in late 2015! Since then, I have taken a position with Carrie Murray State Farm as an office associate. It’s a very interesting position, whether it’s helping other team members or meeting and assisting customers! It’s such a great place to work, we are all like family. I have also been a State Farm customer for over 40 years!
